New Feature: Compare Models

We are very happy to announce that you can now compare two different Seiko 5 models side-by-side on the Seiko 5 Finder site. There are several ways to use the new comparison feature.

First, you can click on the "Compare Models" tab on the top banner of the site. If you click from the detail page for a watch then that watch will be loaded as one of the comparison choices. To choose the second watch for comparison you can either enter it into the form on the left side of the page or click on one of the suggested similar watches shown on the right side of the page. If you are not on the detail page for a watch when you click on the "Compare Models" tab then the two most popular watches will be loaded for comparison. You can update either or both selections in the selection form and click the "Compare Watches" button to update the page.

The second way to compare models is possible when you see a list of watches in the search results or a list of similar watches on the detail page for a watch. There is now a checkbox below each watch in these lists. From the search results page click on any two checkboxes. When you click on the second checkbox the comparison page will be loaded for the two selected watches. From the similar watches list click on any one checkbox and the comparison page will be loaded for that watch and the watch whose detail page you are viewing.
